Pico projectors are undoubtedly one of this year's must–have gadgets, especially for cool hunters looking to out do their mates at every turn. And Acer's new effort, the K10, looks as if it could take top spot amongst guerilla cinema enthusiasts.
Packing the usual DLP tech found in all the hottest projectors, you also get LED lamp tech, which Acer says will make for better colour saturation and contrast. All good to us.
The half kilo K10 measures 127x122mm, coming in around twice the size of
Optoma's dinky model. That said you get 60in pictures, with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, as well as support for 4:3 and 16:9 so you don't need to spend time adjusting the resolution on your PC.
The K10 might be billed as a pico, but it's style and size mean it's ideal as a first time model for your front room, as well as taking out on the road.
