While the Mac Pro is purely for full–on, loaded creative types, Apple isn't leaving those of us with a savings account smaller than that of a redundant city banker. The new Mac Mini has been given an unsurprising overhaul, with more grunt under its metal hood.
The low–end £499 model comes with 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD, super–drive and the same NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics you'll find in last year's MacBooks.
The pricier £649 model packs in 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD and the same super drive and graphics as its stripped down sibling.
Round the back you'll find 5 USB ports as promised, Ethernet, displayport and firewire with Bluetooth bundled too. Each model comes with OSX Leopard and iLife on board.
Our thoughts? Great, but still a bit on the pricey side for those looking to make the jump to Mac.
