Apple has just unveiled their new MacBook. It looks scarily like the newly released
MacBook Pro, rocking iMac style and a multitouch glass trackpad, making navigating around Leopard even easier.
There's an LED backlit display, matching the Air and Pro, with the same 'unibody enclosure', aka, Brick, making it stronger and less likely to take a beating in your laptop bag.
NVIDIA graphics are also supported, making this a far better proposition as a gaming machine.
There are two new versions. A 13.3in edition with 2Ghz, Core 2 Duo, GeForce 9400M graphics, 160GB HDD and 2GB RAM. That'll cost £949 in the US. The second packs 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD and will cost £1,149.
And if you're after a cheap model? Well, Apple's keeping the low-end white MacBook and flogging it for £719. That's up on the old £699 cost. Ouch!
They're on sale tomorrow, so best get queuing. Want more? Check out the new
MacBook Pro and the
updated MacBook Air.
