The wait is over, iPhone lovers. Fancy a slice of iPhone 3G action but don't dig the O2 contracts? Then here's the news you've been holding your breath for since the 3G multi-touch marvel was announced.Scoot on over to the O2 website and you'll find a brand new update to the iPhone Pay & Go page: price and launch date details. So, what's the skinny? Well as of 16 September you'll be able to pick up an 8GB iPhone 3G without a contract for £350, or the more capacious 16GB model for £400. That includes free Wi-Fi and unlimited 3G browsing for the first year, a deal you can extend from then onwards for just a tenner a month. Not bad, if you ask us.Unfortunately visual voicemail doesn't come on the pay and go deal but that aside it's pretty much the kind of package we were expecting. We'll see you in the queue.
