Rock is cooking HD DVD laptops

Tosh may have promised to equip all its laptops with HD DVD drives by next year but gaming crew Rock isn't waiting.

It reckons it's time to bestow the Blu-ray rival on the masses and has declared it the best value for money next-gen format.

First to enjoy the HD bounty include the 15.4in Pegasus 670 (pictured) starting at a pound shy of £1000 and the 17in Xtreme 770, which both come with HDMI for hooking up to the big screen.

Hi-def laptops from a grand? Yes please!
