Samsung Acme i8910 8MP camera phone slips out

Gaj–it has managed to lay its hands on pics and a slew of information about the spanking new 8MP Samsung Acme i8910. The fully touchscreen phone will apparently be sitting pretty on Sammy’s stand at MWC, with specs that are bound to excite camphone fanatics.

Alongside that 8MP sensor, there’ll be HD video, HDMI out, GPS, Wi–Fi and Symbian S60 to keep things ticking along in the background. There’ll be two versions, one packing 8GB, the other 16GB. We know which one we’ll be plumping for.

Naturally, Samsung’s saying less than a school kid on a sponsored silence. That said, we can expect to see it at some point during the Barcelona mobile fest.
