Finally we have a winner of
Show Us Your Stuff! It's been a monster competition, with over 100 entrants, reviewing all manner of items, from toasters to garlic presses, whistles to underpants.
We did a video face-off of our four finalists at the Stuff live show on Sunday. These were:
Verity Burns reviewing the Pentax Optio W60:
Y2K Jon with his tiny MacBook Air review:
Lee Comley with an Acer AspireOne:
And CraigUSPerl12's Thompson video recorder:
In the end, we went for Lee's Acer vid – he showed a really relaxed style in front of the camera, and a good knowledge of his subject. He wins 10K of Sony kit, including handycam, flatscreen TV, new Walkman and surround sound system.
Thanks to everyone who took part – the entries were amazing, and loads had us rolling in the aisles of Stuff Towers. We hope to do more video-based comps in the future, so stay tuned...
To see all our entrants, head over to the
YouTube Show Us Your Stuff page...

Time flies when you're reviewing gadgets. Except if you have to sit opposite Tom Wiggins, let me tell you. But enough of my problems... Happily, the Show Us Your Stuff entries are still coming in as more of you step in front of the camera to give us the insider scoop on your gadget of choice.
Here's a rundown of the latest vids...
Andy Love extols the virtues of the 10-gang upright power socket with the help of his downtrodden friend, Ed.
James Bond meets Rogue Traders when Ashens reviews the Spycam Pen. We're not recording this, you know.
Nicole Freeman is all about time-saving gadgets. Her GHD hair straighteners go from 0 to 200 degrees almost instantly, and they're more reliable than Brad Pitt, apparently.
Tiffany Rose hits the streets of Hollywood to put the Panasonic Lumix FX500 and LA's celebrity lookalikes through their paces.
Action man Roger Holmes tests the Sony HC5 camcorder to the EXTREEEEEEME! Rather him than us, we say.
Remember, the closing date for entries is Sunday 31st August, so if you want to
be in with a chance of getting your hands on £10,000 worth of gadgets
and a £10,000 contract to work at Stuff.tv, hurry over to Show Us Your Stuff and get your entries in. You only have 11 days left!

The Show Us Your Stuff clock is counting down faster than the clock on... er, Countdown. And we're getting even more entrants who reckon they've got the chops to be a Stuff.tv presenter.
First up, Betsy Shaw wages the war on perspiration – her primary target is a boy with a nasty case of the butt sweats.
The ever-thorough y2kjonrichards gives us an in-depth 'living with'-style review of the iPhone 3G.
gormo7 tells us of his unhealthy obsession with a bottle opener, or as he likes to call it, 'the eighth wonder of the world'.
Chris Hobbs reviews the Nippl... er, Nike+ iPod on his afternoon run. It's certainly more appealing than the prospect of being chased by a shouty Australian girl in a car (hello Betsy!)
After all that, it's probably time for a little drink. 'Ere, pass us that eighth wonder of the world mate. No, not the hanging gardens of Babylon – the other one...
The closing date for entries is Sunday 31st August, so if you want to
be in with a chance of getting your hands on £10,000 worth of gadgets
and a £10,000 contract to work at Stuff.tv, hurry over to Show Us Your Stuff and get your entries in before it's too late!

Stuff.tv's video extravaganza is gathering pace like a drunk on an escalator, but if you fancy yourself as the next star of Stuff.tv, be warned – you only have a month left to submit your entry.
Yes,
Show Us Your Stuff will accept the last entrants on 31 August, so if you want to be in with a chance of winning 10 grand's worth of top tech prizes, plus a contract to work with Stuff.tv worth 10K, then you better get your skates on.
Take inspiration from Ryan Taylor who has reviewed "a Leather bag of compressed air" or "football":
Or what about Martin Archer's awesome DJing with a Wii controller:
Or Pikatechu's review of an old favourite, the iPod Shuffle:
So what are you waiting for? Polish those gadgets, practise those cheesy grins and

The first iPhone 3G review has been submitted to Show Us Your Stuff!
jackboswell loses more than his way when he tests out the iPhone 3G's GPS. Unfortunately, after braving the queues to get an iPhone 3G at launch, he pays a higher than usual premium for being an early adopter. If he wins £10,000 worth of gadgets, he'll have to be a bit more careful in future.
Don't forget to watch Stuff.tv's own iPhone 3G video review too.
Standard, bruv.

Please welcome a new guest presenter to Stuff.tv.
Nikki Moore, an IT consultant from London is taking part in a new BBC 3 documentary on changing your life to be aired later this year. As part of one of her challenges, Nikki wanted to cultivate her creative side and also her love of gadgets – so she obviously came to Stuff for help.
With a little bit of coaching Nikki has now successfully shot a video review for us in our studios, as well as written her own guest blog (see below).
If you think you could do better, then remember that there's still plenty of time to enter our Show Us Your Stuff competition to win a job with us and 10K of prizes...
Control Freak? Check out the new LG KF700
The new KF700 from LG is slick and refreshingly easy to use and all about control – there’s a touch screen, a keypad and a jog dial so take your pick.
The 3inch touchscreen is responsive, clear and a good size – although size isn’t everything, girls. The menus are easy to navigate and intuitive, especially the text messaging, which for me is a biggie given how much of a text addict I am, although scrolling up and down on the longer messages was a bit tricky, as was adding the recipients name at the end.
I loved the return key function on each screen whenever you want to get back to where you started – always handy when you’re a bit lost – and the folder choices on the main screen were really useful.
I especially liked when you entered the first few digits of a phone number and the relevant contact names automatically appeared – very tidy.
One thing that I found annoying was the location of the lock key on the right-hand side of the phone, quite an important key it’s fair to say. It’s just not a natural place to access when holding the phone in your hand so makes it difficult to use, although if you’re left-handed it would be ideal.
It’s also right next to the camera button so easy to load the camera inadvertently, resulting in some very attractive photos of my pocket. Having said that, when you do use the camera intentionally, the quality of the photos is impressive – very clean and crisp and the functionality of the advanced settings was also pretty good.
I didn’t particularly like the jog dial on the left-hand side of the phone, in fact I never really used it to access the menus, it just seemed a little pointless and unnecessary and the fact that you had to click to a button to activate it then scroll to the shortcut then click the button again was all a bit involved, especially when there were easier ways, in my opinion, to access the same info.
Not a great location either, again better placed for lefthanders. (It would be better to click the wheel in to select your choice – in a kind of blackberry stylee). It was, however, useful for adjusting the volume when talking to people with very loud voices and zooming in and out when using the camera.
Overall, I was pretty impressed with what this phone had to offer – it’s an easy to use, stylish handset for anyone who is considering going for a touch phone… but there are just too many ways to access the menus so is just a little over-complicated.

Our competition to find the new face of Stuff.tv is gathering some rather good entries. Frankly, we're all a little worried for our jobs.
Check out Craig Thornton's review of the Nokia N73, below. I'm mightily impressed - Craig is charming, affable and informative - three virtues we'd have to beat out of him if he wins a job at Stuff Towers.
But there's still time to prove you can do better - the competition doesn't end until August 31, with live finals at the Stuff Live exhibition on 1 November. And don't forget, the winner will pocket £10,000 of tech kit as well as the chance to join the Stuff team.
So get filming - Stuff needs you!

Our quest to find a new presenter for Stuff.tv continues apace - we now have 35 entries over at our Show Us Your Stuff YouTube group.
Just because the closing date isn't until August 31st doesn't mean you shouldn't get filming now. After all, you're going to have to compete with the likes of Vectrex, and his very very impressive slot-loading toaster.
Have you got what it takes to compete with that? If you think so, then get filming. You'll find full details or how to enter here.

Show Us Your Stuff, our search for a new face of Stuff.tv, is now well underway.
We've already had some interesting entries appearing over at our Show Us Your Stuff YouTube group.
Latest entries include a hands on with the Apple iPhone, the Pure Evoke, and a unique selection of reviews from Crablin including his Holy Bible/Nintendo DS double-header our current fave, this review of a whistle:
'I myself have slept with 15 different women since owning this whistle, which I bought yesterday'.
Quite. Just goes to show it's not about what you review, but how you review it.
I'm off to buy myself a whistle. Don't forget, you could stand to win £10,000 worth of tech and a job as a video presenter on Stuff.tv by entering your own video.
