Windows 7 Team blog confirmed the news that MSDN and TechNet subscribers will be able to hit the download button on 30 April, with full public availability to begin on 5 May.
Windows 7 has been in beta since the beginning of the year, with patient testers at one point sending feedback every 15 seconds for a whole week. Thanks to this, bugs have been fixed and improvements have been made to an extent that Microsoft feels confident enough to release it to us lot.
There's no news on what the download window will be, or how long it will run for, but it does seem that the full OS is still on for a release in early 2010.
If you fancy getting a sneak peek at the OS close to completion, be sure to download it on 5 May, and let us know what you think about it.
