Not a day passes now without some more news or non-news on the mythical, magical Apple Macbook Tablet. But today's glut of rumours have a ring of truth. Whispers from high level music industry bods suggest Apple's next keynote will be on September 7, focusing on iPods. September is the traditional month for new iPods so that makes sense. We can almost certainly expect to see new iPod designs popping up – perhaps the much heralded iPod Nano with camera will be in there – as well as iTunes 9 with its social features and Blu-ray support. But will the Apple Tablet be part of the mix and could Cocktail – Apple's rumoured new way of packaging music and video content – be part of the announcement? More realistic sounding rumours of the Apple Tablet have surfaced thanks to a Deepthroat-style source who called Gizmodo's Brian Lam.The apparently well-placed source claims the Apple Mac Tablet will have a 10in screen and looks "like a giant iPhone with a black back, the same resin back and the familiar home button." Giz's source also suggest that the device will act as an additional screen or touchpad for iMacs and Macbooks. That's a feature we'd love to see and one that would definitely encourage Mac mad geeks to add it to their collections. Another intriguing element of the rumour is that the device will come in two editions – a webcam enabled one and one for "education use". The second category could point to the eBook reader functionality we've heard about in the past. The one element that the Apple informant couldn't or wouldn't disclose is what OS the Apple Mac Tablet will run. This is apparently still a major secret. The Apple Mac Tablet will fit in the space between the iPhone and a Macbook, priced at between $700 and $900. So not exactly small change. Apple hasn't officially announced the September 7 event yet but when it does expect live coverage and analysis from Stuff.tv. In the meantime, check out the 10 things we want from the Apple Mac Tablet.

So not only has it been confirmed that Apple are actually making a Tablet or that the Nano will have a camera but that the 7th September (when these products are rumoured to be launched) has actually been confirmed yet either.
I think it's about time you changed you "News" tab to "Rumours" as that seems to be all there is about everything at the moment.

Sorry... That should have read "So not only has it NOT been confirmed..."
and..
7th September (when these products are rumoured to be launched) HASN'T actually been confirmed yet either.

I agree, enough with reporting on speculation. This isn't news. If Stuff continue to do this, then they'll be losing my custom.
