Asus Eee PC Shell – superthin netbook imminent

Asus is already rejigging its line of Eee PCs, killing off the dinky 9in models in favour of specced up 10in versions. And now the people who created

A report on DigiTimes says the new machine will be even more slimline than the awesome Eee PC S101, with a higher spec and longer battery life than that particular high–end machine. With SSDs becoming all the rage, we expect a 64GB version to take a bow in the Shell.

Word is that an official announcement will be made next week at a major tech show in Hanover, Germany. Either way, we can’t wait to see what Asus has planned. It may not be cheap, but it sure will look and play nice.
