Nokia has given the 6700, its successor to the 6300, a June release date.

From 19 June it will be on sale for £269 SIM free at Nokia stores and nokia.co.uk/shop. In the meantime you can preorder one at nokia.co.uk/6700preorder

For the more laid-back Nok fans out there, you can amble down to your nearest mobile phone shop and get one from 26 June.

Onboard there’s a 5MP camera, GPS with Nokia Maps and HSDPA for all your web-based cravings. Like the 6300 it’s bound to appeal to those looking for a no fuss handset that manages not to look like the dregs from Woolies’ bargain bin.
