HTC One SV packs 4G smarts
HTC's latest smartphone features LTE compatibility along with microSD expansion slot and removable battery
There is definitely no shortage of well-equipped Android smartphones out there – and now HTC’s added one to the pile with its HTC One SV, which packs 4G LTE connectivity for use on the EE network.
Combining both the letters of the former One S and One V smartphones, you would expect the SV to be a bit of a hybrid – and it is.
It comes with the usual Beats Audio integration, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and 1GB of RAM for rapid performance, 5MP rear camera, 1.6MP front camera, 4.3in display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a dollop of Sense 4.0 on top.
Fairly standard so far but there are some key differences between the SV and other HTC flagship blowers. Firstly, it comes with a removable 1,800mAh battery. Secondly, it has a microSD slot, something usually reserved for the lower end of the smartphone spectrum (for some reason). That means you can up your storage by 32GB if you so desire, adding to the 8GB standard.
The One SV will be available in ‘the coming weeks’ at as yet disclosed retailers and networks, hopefully with a price in tow. In the meantime, better get deciding between blue or white.
