Revo Ikon – new king of DAB, iPod and Last.fm
We knew it was coming, and now we have the full details on Revo's new multi-format digital radio device, the colour touchscreen-packing Ikon.Mixing up
Mixing up a bit of everything that Revo does best, the Ikon is capable of receiving a whole host of digital radio standards including FM, DAB, DAB+ and internet radio, as well as packing an iPod dock and the ability to wirelessly stream your music from your computer.
The Ikon can also access online music service Last.fm, allowing you to choose an artist or genre for a tailormade playlist, or alternatively you can use an existing Last.fm profile.
The device is controlled by its 3.5-inch colour touchscreen, which also shows up extras such as station logos, track and artist information, and even news headlines when available from the broadcaster.
The Ikon will go on sale in October for £279.95, and will come complete with a 30-day Last.fm free trial. After that you’ll have to cough up £3 a month to keep up the subscription.
Keep it locked to Stuff.tv for a full review when we get our hands on it, and be sure to check out what we though of Revo’s Blik Radiostation for an idea of what these guys can do.
