The gold Apple Watch could cost US$4000
That's fine. It's not like you needed a new car anyway...
The gold version of the Apple Watch could drain your bank balance in the blink of an eye.
According to French site iGen.fr’s source, the blinged-out version of Apple’s clever timepiece could set you back between US$4000-5000.
If that’s too much for your bank balance to handle, then there’s always the stainless steel version, which will apparently cost US$500.
The only price that Apple officially announced at the launch in November was US$350, which is presumably for the aluminium model.
There’s no way to tell how accurate this information is, but the same site did accurately predict the dimensions of the iPhone 6 before its official unveiling, so there could be some expensive truth to the rumours.
If true then it’s a far cry from the £200 Moto 360, but we’ll have to wait till next year to see just how much damage the Apple Tax will cause our wallets.
