They can be controlled remotely using a simple iOS/Android app–for example, to start or stop a cycle, check its progress and be notified when it’s finished – while the Eco function lets you time a cycle for maximum efficiency. The two will talk to each other using Whirlpool’s 6th Sense Live tech, so the dryer optimises its cycle based on what the washer has done–and the dryer is a heat pump model, making it up to three times cheaper to run than a normal dryer.
