This one comes courtesy of Bloomberg, whose sources have stated that there will be two versions of Samsung’s new flagship phone, confirming past reports of a standard S6 and an S6 Edge.
The latter is thought to have a curved screen, Note-Edge style, but this latest report describes the device as having a three-sided display which wraps around both edges of the device. The extra screen real estate can be used ot display notifications as well as housing on-screen camera and video controls, freeing up more room on the main screen itself.
Both Galaxy S6 models will apparently have 5.1in screens and will forged from solid pieces of metal, supporting existing whispers which point to a premium design.
Throw in further support for "Samsung’s most advanced processor chips" – likely referring to its own powerful Exynos processors – and we’re beginning to get a pretty clear idea of what we can expect to see at Samsung’s unpacked event on 1 March at MWC in Barcelona.
