Bluetooth smart necklace shows off notifications, matches your clothes
Bluetooth smart necklace shows off notifications matches your wardrobe
If you’ve been over-saturated with smartwatch news at CES then perhaps this smart necklace will offer something a little different.
Created by British chipmaker CSR as a proof of concept, this Bluetooth 4.0 pendant houses smart LEDs, letting you change their colours to suit your mood and/or clothes with an accompanying smartphone app.
The LEDs can also be customised to flash different colours depending on the type of notifications your smartphone receives.
Texts, emails, and missed calls can be brought to your attention at a glance, though CSR does mention that this feature would make more sense on a bracelet which would be easier to see than something hanging around your neck.
This isn’t even the first piece of smart jewellery we’ve seen here at CES.
Check out the Netatmo June bracelet which warns you when you’ve caught too much sun, and pop into Stuff’s giant CES Hub for all the news from Vegas.
