Prime Day LIVE: Our top picks from Amazon Big Deal Days 2024

Another savings event is here from the retail giant, exclusively for Prime members and taking place until the end of today

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days

Black Friday is still on the way, of course, but Amazon is once again doing something called Prime Big Deal Days at the moment. It’s on for the rest of today, so expect plenty of great deals on both Amazon US and Amazon UK – but they’ll end at midnight tonight.

Get an Amazon Prime trial to access the deals

As you’d expect, only Amazon Prime members will be able to access the sale, so if you’re not already signed up, now is the time to do so. Luckily, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial, which you can still use to access Prime deals. Check that out here:

What else you need to know

The Big Deal Days event will take place at slightly different times depending on where you live due to time differences. Some of Amazon’s own device deals are already live.

These events are, essentially, a second Prime Day. For Amazon, it’s an opportunity to get in early on the pre-Christmas and Thanksgiving sales action ahead of rivals. A lot of other retailers are tending to begin their sales in early November. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are still to come as well, of course!

Prime Big Deal Days will take place in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the U.S. and the UK. The Prime Big Deal Days sale ran last year as well, which in turn replaced the Prime Early Access sale which ran in 2022.

You’ll need an Amazon Prime account to get the deals

As you’d expect, only Amazon Prime members will be able to access the sale, so if you’re not already signed up, now is the time to do so. Luckily, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial, which you can still use to access Prime deals. Check that out here:

How to get the best Prime Big Deal Days savings

Bargains can be tempting, but if you have a shopping list of products you want to get during the Prime Big Deal Days, doing a bit of research ahead of time will ensure the bargain you get really is saving you cash.

The saving stated might also be based on RRP rather than what it sells for on the site normally. It’s a bit of a sneaky trick, but one of the oldest in the book. If you’ve got your eye on something, it could be worth finding out its price now. Then, you’ll know just how much of a deal it really is.
