Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer debuts
Marvel’s first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron was slated to air next week during its Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series, but a leaked version appeared late yesterday evening. Thankfully, the company had a sense of humour about the situation and decided to simply release the official, high-definition trailer and steal back its own thunder.
And it’s a scorcher, showing the superhero team in turmoil amidst narration from Ultron himself, voiced by James Spader. We won’t spoil anything: watch for yourself if you want a first look at the hugely anticipated comic film sequel, which is due out in May.

Drop app lets you tweet songs to a playlist
Jambox maker Jawbone just debuted a new Twitter-enabled music app called Drop, which lets you tweet songs and commands to a communal playlist. The library is powered by a linked premium Spotify or Rdio account, letting you choose from a vast array of tracks.
What’s the point? Jawbone CEO Hosain Rahman claims it’ll have benefit in a party setting, wherein anyone can toss on the next track, although we can’t help but think this is a socially-controlled thing that didn’t really need social controls. But you can find out for yourself by downloading the neon-infused free iPhone app now. No word yet on an Android release.

Moto 360 update brings various tweaks
Got Motorola’s Android Wear smartwatch around your wrist? Chances are you’ve found yourself hovering around the charging dock before the end of the day, but a brand new update released yesterday aims to alleviate some of the Moto 360’s battery woes by turning off ambient mode automatically once the battery hits 15%.
Additionally, the Moto 360 now synchronizes more often with your smartphone to avoid time inconsistencies, and it offers a new gesture to hide notifications without fully dismissing them. The update also clears several bugs, and it’s rolling out now in waves – so if you can’t grab it now, check again very soon.

Hearthstone headed to iPhone and Android
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has been a huge smash for Blizzard, as the free-to-play collectible card battler has racked up more than 20 million players between the computer and iPad versions, and the company is hard at work bringing the experience to additional platforms.
Android tablets are up next, and that version is slated to release before the end of the year, but Blizzard is also working on iPhone and Android phone versions. However, due to the extra tweaking to make the interface work on a small screen, those won’t be available until early next year. Still, it’s something to look forward to if you’re eager to have the Warcraft spinoff truly everywhere.
