Oh, and this new app on Google Play called S.M.T.H (Send Me To Heaven), which measures how high you can throw your phone.

Tempting fate

Apple has pulled the app form the App Store for fear of smashed iScreens, but we’ve had a play around with it on one of our trusty Android devices and have left the ordeal unscathed.

It’s got world and local leaderboards to really test your nerve, though we wouldn’t recommend aiming for first place. It’s 33 metres and counting.
