While Apple sorts out its well-publicised issues with the native Maps app on iOS 6, we’re in need of a decent navigation replacement. HERE Maps from Nokia is hoping to capitalise on that, offering a free maps app based on NAVTEQ mapping data, complete with live traffic information, voice-guided walk navigation and offline maps.

Just in time for their 50th anniversary gigs, the Rolling Stones Official App has hit the App Store, complete with news updates, band tweets, exclusive photos and videos and music previews (with iTunes links, natch). You can also connect with other Stones fans on the Fan Wall, buy merchandise and even get the chance to win tickets to their sold-out tour.

Vimeo has rebuilt its iPhone app from the ground up, with a new, more intuitive design – making browsing, uploading and sharing videos quicker and easier than ever. It’s ultimately simplified it from previous iterations, bringing the main features it thinks people will want on the go to the forefront – and keeping the UI clean, uncluttered and easy to use.

There seems to be a trend at the moment of bringing excellent iPad games to the iPhone, and we’re not complaining. Incoboto Mini is a great puzzle game that follows the journey of a small boy called Inco as he searches out stars to keep the last sun in the galaxy alight – all with the help of jetpacks, teleportation and gravity beams, of course.
