Asus launching swivel-screen Windows 8 ultrabook
Transforming Ivy Bridge tablet will launch alongside touchscreen Windows OS
Asus is planning to launch an ultrabook with a swivel screen that’ll transform into a tablet, running Windows 8. The new Ivy Bridge notebook will launch alongside Microsoft’s new OS in September 2012, according to Digitimes.
The as-yet-unnamed ultrabook’s swivel-screen design, seen above in Asus’ Eee PC T101MT, looks set to give users the best of both worlds, combining Windows 8’s new touchscreen tablet experience with the traditional Windows desktop interface.
