Belkin reveals Thunderbolt Express dock

We've never seen a dock look so, so good. Or one with such a big, big price tag

Up until now the only way a faithful Mac user could get in on some Thunderbolt port action was the wallet-busting £900 Apple Thunderbolt display, but that’s about to change thanks to Belkin’s Thunderbolt Express dock.

Featuring classic and unmistakable Apple styling, the dock packs in three USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, one 3.5mm audio jack, a Firewire 800 port and two Thunderbolt ports – one for connecting to a display and the other for chaining up to other Thunderbolt devices.

The Thunderbolt Express dock is reportedly priced at US$300 – which seems a bit steep for a dock, but you can’t deny it’s got the looks.
