It’s no secret that DJI makes some of the best flying machines on the market. It’s also no secret that they usually cost you the equivalent of a long-haul flight. But if a discounted drone is on your wish list, Black Friday discounts might be the answer.

The DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo, a kit which upgrades the flying experience with a shoulder bag, two batteries, back-up propeller blades and a charging station, would usually set you back £399 – but for Black Friday DJI has cut the price by £80, dropping it down to £319.

Weighing in at under 249g there’s no need to register to fly one in most countries and regions with drone laws, and its 1/2.3-inch CMOS camera sensor promises clean 4K video. One-tap takeoff and landing, over half an hour of flight time, and a 10km transmission range to the included remote flight controller makes it an ideal starter drone.

If you’d prefer a camera without wings, it’s worth checking out DJI’s other discounts during its Black Friday sale. The modular DJI Osmo Action 4 Standard Combo is £90 off, at £199 instead of £289; this 4K action cam can shoot 10-bit colour, and has HorizonSteady image stabilisation to keep your footage looking smooth.

The Adventure Combo is also reduced, to £289 versus a £379 RRP; this comes bundled with two batteries, a charging case, and an Extension Rod for vlogging.

Finally, smartphone content creators need to check out the DJI Osmo Mobile 6. This handheld phone gimbal can be snapped up for £85 during the Black Friday shopping season – a £40 reduction from the usual £125 asking price.

A built-in extension rod lets you easily take high or low-angle shots, the magnetic grip makes setup a breeze, and the ActiveTrack 6.0 system is smart enough to follow your subject totally hands-free.
