This is easily the most amazing wireless charger we’ve ever seen
Who says inductive charging solutions can't be sexy?

Wireless inductive charging pads are nothing new, and while they’re useful, they haven’t exactly set our gadget-loving hearts aflutter. Until now.
Spira, a project by design student Alice Robbiani, consists of a wall-mounted inductive charger which, when left on its own, looks like a piece of minimalist art.
Dock an iPhone using a special case however, and the black thermochromatic ink fades away revealing a hidden circular pattern.
An accompanying app shows off the remaining battery level in the iPhone using white circles, with each one representing 10% of the overall battery life.
Spin the iPhone around, and the circles drop away, revealing a hands that matches up with the thermochromatic clock face.
Sure, having your phone on the wall might not be the most practical option if you want to bash out a few messages while it’s charging, but that’s a price you might be willing to pay in the name of art.
Sadly this is a one-off concept piece, for the time being anyway, so we’ll have to make do with our standard cables for now.
