First impressions – Nokia C6
Nokia's busted out three new phones. The C6 (not related to the previous C6) is the cheapest of the bunch. But it's no bog-standard budget pocket box.

Not so long ago a phone like this would have set you back a bit. Solid build in metal and glass, a premium display… it’s got it all going on.
That screen’s pretty dazzling thanks to AMOLED and ClearBlack tech. ClearBlack’s a Nokia-ism, but the brag of decent contrast isn’t an empty boast here. As you can see.
It even holds up well in bright sunlight, although the glossy screen is quite reflective (we’d love to say the wallpaper was a camera lens – it’s not).
This is a nice finish by anyone’s standards, but to put it on a handset at the entry point of your Symbian^3 line-up is a gift. It feels great in the hand, too. The Nokia faithful are going to be buying these in droves.
As are photographers. An 8MP cam with dual-LED flash. These aren’t Zeiss optics, but even so…
So, there you have it. Is it worth £220? We think so. Do you want one? Get to the back of the queue.
