Fully Charged: The Last of Us remade for PS4, Evil Within trailer shocks, and Google Glass is saving lives
Come on into our daily news round-up… if you dare
The Last of Us: Remastered is coming to PS4
If you haven’t yet played The Last of Us on PlayStation 3 (and you should have because it’s one of the best games of last year, but whatever), then you may want to wait a little while – because it’s coming to the PS4 with improved visuals and maybe more.
A NeoGaf user spotted a PlayStation Network ad for The Last of Us: Remastered, quoting a price of US$59.99 and promising a “day one digital release”. Sony has since removed the ad, but the implication is clear – Naughty Dog has given its masterpiece something of an upgrade for PS4 (think 1080p native visuals and all DLC included). We’re looking forward to seeing how much better it looks on the new console.

US hospital gives entire ER department Google Glass
It seems that Google Glass might actually be capable of changing the world – or at least of saving a lot of lives. A Boston hospital is rolling out the headsets to its entire emergency department after one doctor, Steven Horng, credited it with helping him save a patient from almost certain death.
Dr Horng used Glass to bring up the man’s medical info after learning he was allergic to certain blood pressure drugs. This allowed him to find the correct way to slow the bleeding and save him from a stroke or worse. “Rather than having to excuse myself, [Glass] means I can quickly access … information without having to interrupt the patient, lose eye contact, or even leave the room,” said the doctor.
