If you’re bucking the digital trend and still showing love to your CDs, Denon has come up with a new entry-level CD player that will give your discs the sound they deserve.

The DCD-510AE reckons it will produce sound that will make other CD players in its class sound pretty rubbish. This, says Denon, is somewhat down to the patterns of the digital circuits, which have been specially designed to protect against unwanted radiation, and therefore produce a better sound.

The DCD-510AE also boasts a 24-bit/192 kHz D/A converter for detailed sound, a two line display and the ability to playback ripped CDs with MP3 and WMA files on.

Also launched alongside the DCD-510AE was the PMA-510AE – an integrated stereo amplifier that’ll hook up to your CD player for even better music playback.

Both the DCD-510AE and PMA-510AE are available now, priced up at £229.99 and £249.99 respectively.
