Gadget of the Day – Pure Élan II DAB radio

Hot off the back of the Twittering Sensia, Pure has pulled the covers off the Élan II, a DAB radio with ReVu technology that allows you to pause and rewind live radio.

Like Sky+ for your radio, the Élan II also includes intellitext and textSCAN that enables users to control scrolling text and even store certain broadcasts like traffic reports or sports results.

Promising both DAB and FM radio, the Élan II also packs an input for iPods and MP3 players and an alarm and kitchen timer so you don’t burn your dinner when you get caught up in the music.

Finally whether you’re at home or away, the Élan II can come along as it runs off both the mains or its rechargeable battery for 35 hours of on-the-go listening.
