The Garmin Forerunner 110 follows in the footsteps of one of our favourite running watches, the Forerunner 405.
It’s the slimmest watch to incorporate GPS for accurate speed and distance measurement, with no annoying GPS add-ons required. There is an optional heart rate belt for keeping an eye on your ticker, and it even uses this information for more accurate heart-rate-based calorie burning calculation.
Its high-sensitivity GPS receiver with Garmin’s HotFix tech should make sure that its reading doesn’t drop out, even in dense forest or amongst tall buildings.
As it’s nice and slim, arguably its wearable as an everyday watch, and its rechargeable battery will happily tell the time for up to three weeks in power save mode, or last for eight hours when using the GPS. When you’ve finished your workout, you can then upload the data collected to Garmin Connect to view and share routes with other users to help make sure you stick to your training.
There are three colourways available – black/grey, charcoal/red and grey/pink, so whatever the colour of your running short-shorts, it’s sure to match.
The Garmin Forerunner 110 is available in April for £169.99, or £199.99 with heart rate belt.
