Also: it’s going to have an Nvidia Tegra K1 CPU and will be built by HTC
Over the past few months there’s been a lot of speculation about Google working on a powerful 8.9in Nexus 9 tablet – and now Nvidia has confirmed those rumours.

Nexus in New York?
Q4 2014 is over at the end of this month, and interestingly HTC has just sent out invitations to a press launch in New York for 8th October. A coincidence? Or could it be Google plans to debut the Nexus 9 at a partner’s event rather than its own.
What else do we know about the Nexus 9? Well, going back to speculation again: the word on the street is that it’ll come with Android L, 16GB or 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM and a 2K display with 2048 x 1440 pixels. And of course, that Nvidia Tegra K1 chip, which is very powerful indeed.
