Google opens up London-based “Creator Space” film studio
New YouTube Creator Space studio will offer pro-quality kit and training for wannabe Spielbergs
Calling all film-makers – Google is opening up the doors of its Soho headquarters to budding Spielbergs, giving YouTube users access to a new Creator Space packed with goodies.
Opening “in the next few weeks,” the Creator Space will be made available to YouTube partners from Africa, Europe and the Middle East, and offers up an array of equipment including broadcast-quality HD cameras, DSLRs, lighting rigs, audio booths, editing suites and greenscreen studios.
The Creator Space will also play host to training programs run by the YouTube Creator Academy and the YouTube Next Lab.
If you reckon you have the next YouTube viral video bubbling away at the back of your brain, you’ll be able to book time at the Creator Space at the YouTube Creator Hub.
