Is this the HTC One Plus Mini?
If it is, then HTC's got a new paint job to treat us all to
Google+ user M. Helal has posted photos of a handset he claims to be the HTC One Plus.
While it has the all-but-confirmed dual rear cameras, observers have noted that this is likely to be the speculated HTC Plus Mini instead.
This is supported by the lack of a plastic camera rim – which suggests no NFC – its shorter speaker grill, and the fact that there’s a HTC logo on the front (which has been absent from leaked pictures of the larger HTC One Plus).
The HTC One Plus Mini is expected to arrive with a 4.5in screen, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6.0.
XDA developer moderator Shen Ye, who recently released specs for the HTC One Plus has confirmed that these recent leaked pictures are real, though he has failed to specify whether or not we’re looking at the HTC Plus or Plus Mini.
HTC fans will also find it hard to ignore the much shinier silver colour on display. This is likely to be the dark grey or silver colour that Ye recently revealed the HTC Plus would arrive in.
That’s all we’ve got for the time being, but we expect more details to trickle out ahead of HTC’s March launch in New York City, so stay tuned.
