iTunes 10.5 ready to download now
Get ready for iOS 5 with the latest version of iTunes, available now
iTunes 10.5 is now available for download, in advance of the roll-out of the iOS 5 update for iPhones, iPads and iPod touches on Wednesday. The 76MB download enables automatic downloads of music, apps and books to all your Mac and iOS devices. Purchased music will automatically appear on all your Apple gadgets, and you can download previously bought songs, apps and books again, at no additional cost (as long as they’re still available on iTunes).
The new software will also automatically synch with iOS 5 gadgets over Wi-Fi, any time they’re both on the same Wi-Fi network. There’s not a tremendous amount to see today before the iOS 5 roll-out but you can configure your synching and sharing options – and at least get the new iTunes installed before Apple’s server get crushed on Wednesday.
