Just because they could – Union Jack Xbox 360

Blatant marketing cash-in or patriotic gaming masterpiece? You decide

If the Queen’s upcoming Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics have stirred the patriotic beast within you, then you might not be as taken aback  by this Union Jack-emblazoned Xbox 360 and Kinect bundle as we are.

Leaked (and subsequently taken down) by Amazon, the Union Jack Xbox 360 bundle was listed for £250 with a release date of May 25th, according to Eurogamer.

The bundle is also said to include a copy of Kinect Sports and Kinect Adventures, in addition to a three months Xbox Live Gold subscription, in an apparent attempt to tip the balance in the flag-emblazoned console’s favour.
