Let the Urban Cultivator grow your herbs for you

No garden space? Bad at watering plants? This hydroponic garden will do it all for you

We love fresh herbs when cooking but have the plant caring instincts of a woodchuck. So the Urban Cultivator, which does all the work for you, is ideal.

The Urban Cultivator’s a hydroponic garden – a kitchen appliance that lets you grow a herb garden without any effort. Simply connect it to your mains water supply, add power for artificial lighting, and bung in some plant food once a month.

So what’s the catch for this fresh idea? A US$2200 (£1400) price tag – that’s a lot of herbs from the supermarket to justify the payout. But it looks cool and will make you feel like a scientist – worth it.
