Steve Jobs biopic to get Aaron Sorkin screenplay
Sony's hired The Social Network writer for its upcoming Jobs film (not the Ashton Kutcher one)
The Social Network screenwriter Aaron Sorkin is on board for the Sony Pictures biopic Steve Jobs, according to Hollywood newspaper Variety, and in case you’re confused over the correct reaction to this news – this should make you very excited.
Yes, it may not have Ashton Kutcher donning that famous black polo neck (he’s starring in a second Steve Jobs movie about the late Apple co-founder’s early life). But the Sony biopic is based on the bestselling Walter Isaacson biography that shifted tons of copies at the end of last year. And we’re sure Sorkin – who has also worked on TV shows like The West Wing – won’t shy away from showing us the whole Steve Jobs. Here’s our pick of potential lead actors.
