Max Payne Mobile for Android delayed

Bad news for Android owners who were looking forward to leaping through the air, firing two guns at once

If you’re an Android owner who’s been looking at the iOS version of Max Payne Mobile with envious eyes, we’ve got some bad news – the Android version, originally due out today, has been delayed.

It looks like that pesky range of ‘droid devices is to blame, with developers Rockstar tweeting that “Some last testing required to make sure we can get Max Payne Mobile on as many Android devices as possible.” Still, it’s not all bad news – the game will be hitting Android “in the next week or so.”

Hopefully the Android version of Max Payne Mobile will – like Grand Theft Auto III – support physical controllers, so that ‘droid devotees will have something to feel smug about.
