Take a look at Moto's smartphone announcement a day early

Motorola’s own teaser site has spilled the beans on its latest smartphone – and by beans we mean this sexy looking snap of the new Spyder. Spotted by Droid Life, the pic shows a suitably thin design with a familiar bump up top. The big question is will it be enough to take the thinnest smartphone title on Wednesday?

That’s a Kevlar back you can see, as we suspected, with the 4G logo and confirmation that the Spyder’s rear camera will shoot HD video. Round the front, there’s a front facing camera and four capacitive buttons below the touchscreen – which we’re still guessing will be around the 4.3in mark. We’ll have a live blog and hands-on snaps with the Spyder and other Motorola goodies – hopefully the Xoom 2 – this Wednesday.

UPDATE It looks like the Spyder’s been confirmed as the new RAZR, with Clove UK pricing it at £460 with a 1 November release date.
