Is this HTC’s 2010 phone line up?

A rather lovely line up of eight HTC handsets has found its way on to the interweb over the weekend, which reportedly make up the portfolio for HTC for the first half of 2010.

Some of you might remember a rather similar occurrence back in January when a pretty accurate 2009 roadmap for HTC was leaked, giving us hope that this latest list could be on the money as well.

The eight handsets are a mixture of Android and Windows Mobile 6.5, and have also been categorised under subsections of Design/Lifestyle, Social, Performance and Productivity.

Android takes up the the first three categories with five new handsets, while Windows Mobile champions the Productivity section on its own with three.

In Design/Lifestyle you can expect a full touchscreen Magic/Hero successor called the Legend, with that love/hate chin, full 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen, an optical pad replacing the trackball and a 5 megapixel camera. It’s pencilled in for March.

 This is backed up by the Salsa, a full QWERTY, BlackBerry-esque handset with a 528MHz Qualcomm chip, 3.2 megapixel camera and FM radio coming slightly late in June.

 

Under the Social tab, we’ve got the Tide and the Buzz, the former coming in April with an old-school numerical keypad, rollerball and 3.2 megapixel camera, and the latter offering up changeable backplates for the fashion conscious.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only one handset is listed under performance, but it does sound promising to say the least. The Bravo packs the speedy 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, DivX support, 720p video capture and a 5 megapixel camera. We’re certainly looking forward to seeing this in April, all fingers crossed.

Finally the Productivity WinMo phones come in the form of the Photon, Trophy and Tera. The Photon looks as if it could be a Touch Diamond2 successor when it hits shelves in April, while the full QWERTY Trophy certainly looks like it could hold its own up against BlackBerry, at least in the looks department.

 

Finally Tera packs the same form factor as the Touch Pro2 with its slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but sizes down slightly to a 3-inch screen instead.

Wowsers, that’s some line up. Here’s hoping that at least some of this is correct and we see some of these handsets on our shelves before the summer.
