The Nikon D3000 is an entry-level DSLR with surprisingly succulent specs. The 10.2MP snapper packs in a pop-up flash and 11-point auto focus plus a 3fps burst shooting mode.

For beginners, the Nikon D3000 has settings stablisers in a new menu system, that’ll show you the recommended set-ups for different shots.

The D3000 is out now for £429.99 body only or a rather appealing £499.99 with an 18-55mm lens kit.
