Nikon D600 price and release date revealed

Nikon lifts the lid off its smallest and lightest DSLR to date, but will it be enough to part eager shutterbugs with their cash?

Nikon has revealed its D600 DSLR in an attempt to appeal to photographers who want professional features without the wallet-busting price tag of the Nikon D800.

The Nikon D600 packs in plenty of tech to keep enthusiastic shutterbugs happy, with a 24.3MP sensor, 1080p video recording and a 100-6400 ISO range.

With up to 5.5fps on offer, a good-for-900-shots battery, dual SD card recording and the same weatherproofing as the more expensive D800, the 760g (body only) Nikon D600 should make for a mighty tempting proposition for enthusiasts who can afford its £1955 price tag.

The Nikon D600 will hit shelves on September 18th, so stay tuned for a full Stuff review shortly.

Interested? Save over £180 on the Nikon D600 before the 24th December.
