Nokia Music launched with free playlists
Nokia straps its new music service onto the Lumia 800 launch – RnB with Elop anyone?
Hot on the heels of the announcement of the Lumia 800 – the N9 in Mango clothing – Nokia Music has burst onto the scene to join the Nokia World party. It features an MP3 store and location-based gig listings with click-through buying via Ticketmaster and Seatwave. Plus, Nokia’s excited about Mix Radio which is basically a collection of free playlists, sorted by genre and available from a homescreen tile.
You can access the Mix Radio mixes without handing over your credit card details or even creating an account, and they’re available offline. You can also choose to listen to mixes similar to your favourite artists with the Music DNA feature.
We’ll let you know when we get details on the future of Zune on new Nokia devices but for now, let’s just hope you share Nokia’s taste in choons.
