Nokia N86 8MP – full–on camera phone unveiled

With the natty new Navigator and E55 out of the way, Nokia has turned its might Finnish weight to planet camera phone, unleashing the slick new N86 8M

As the name suggests, the new cell packs an 8 megapixel sensor round the back, making this Nokia’s first effort to got head–to–head with the likes of the Sony Ericsson C905 and Samsung i8510.

As well as the Carl Zeiss lens, you get a slick metal frame, 8GB of internal memory, plus up to 16GB of extra stashing space via SD. And obviously, being an N–series, you get stacks of other extras too.

You’ll find a built–in compass, GPS navigation, the latest version of Nokia Maps and Ovi support, meaning this should be fully app store compatible when it lands laster this year.
