Nokia has announced it will be launching a 16GB version of its X6 music phone tomorrow, halving the on board storage of the original model but keeping the same specs elsewhere for a lower price.

Available to pre-order from 9am tomorrow, the 16GB X6 will pack the same 5 megapixel camera and 3.2-inch touchscreen, but will drop the Comes With Music capability of its big brother.

This has instead been replaced by 25 free tracks from the Nokia music store when you buy the phone – plus don’t forget you’ll be able to get Nokia’s recently announced free turn-by-turn navigation on the X6 as well.

Nokia’s X6 will be available from the 24 February, and you’ll be able to pick it up on a tariff from £25 a month or for £299 SIM-free direct from Nokia.

If that’s still too pricey, don’t forget the X6 smaller sibling the X3 which is also up for pre-order for £129 complete with 3.2 megapixel camera, built-in FM radio and access to the Ovi Store.
