Parrot AR Drone gets it on with Android

A headline we've been yearning to write for years, and now we have reason

We’ve always had a soft spot for the Parrot AR Drone. Its Wi-Fi-piloted controls and flying augmented reality gaming experience have sent our geekometers in to a frenzy in the past. But until now only Apple lovers could get in on the sweet soaring action with their iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. That changes from now with the welcome announcement that Android, Symbian and Bada devices have been invited to the drone party.

An upcoming AR Race game also allows you to create your own circuits to pit drone versus drone and accessories consisting of inflatable pylons and donuts should ensure some epic aerial battles. At last the iOS-Android clash can leave the comments board and head out into the street.
