BlackBerry L-series specs leaked in official RIM document
Someone call a plumber – the details of RIM's first BB10 handset are leaking all over the place
Specs for the upcoming BlackBerry L-series handsets have been leaked in an official RIM document which was sent to TechRadar by an anonymous tipster.
The meatiest pages of the outed training document listed the BlackBerry L-Series handset (otherwise known as the BlackBerry London and launching as the Z10) as having a 4.2in 1280×768 355ppi display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 1,800 mAh battery.
There’s no mention what processor will be powering the news BB10 OS, but we expect it to have a 1.5Ghz dual-core A9 chip to run the show, along with an 8MP rear facing camera, with a 2MP lens for video calls.
There will also be four flavours of the L-Series worldwide – the BlackBerry London, Laguna, Lisbon and Liverpool – all of which will pack in 4G, minus the London. We can only presume/hope that the Liverpool variant will be the UK’s 4G version of the handset.
While it all looks pretty certain now, we’ll find out for sure on January 30th during BlackBerry 10’s official unveiling. In the meantime, check out part one and part two of our BB10 OS hands previews.
