According to TechCrunch, an eagle-eyed developer’s snooping around in some app usage logs has resulted in strong evidence to suggest that the next iPhone will rock both CDMA and GSM network compatibility. Up until now, previous iterations of Apple’s blower have caused many frustrations for users with CDMA handsets, which have turned into expensive shiny bricks in GSM-only areas.

This move looks set to cement the iPhone 5 as solid international communicator, albeit at the expense of LTE support – looks like we’ll have to wait for the inevitable 6th generation for those blistering 4G data speeds.
