HTC First screenshots leaked
Ahead of tonight's big reveal, screenshots show off the HTC Facebook phone's homepage and sharing screens
Following yesterday’s reveal of the HTC First, the world’s, well, first Facebook phone, more images have leaked overnight of the device’s Home user interface.
9to5 Google’s screenshots, sourced from perennial Twitter leaker @evleaks, show off the HTC First’s Facebook Home skin overlaid on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The snaps showcase the First’s apps homepage, notifications page, and the phone’s various networking options, including text, phone, and Instagram capabilities.
The design seems very functional and minimal, with an obvious focus on content sharing via social networks – plus all the usual polish you’d expect from an Android interface. Specs are definitely mid-level, though, with the HTC First reportedly packing a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.3in 720p HD screen and 5MP camera.
The HTC First should be unveiled later today at Facebook’s big announcement event – stay tuned to Stuff for all the details.
