Pure reveals S340B wireless multi-room speaker system
Pure is hoping to cure your multi-room audio woes with its latest range of brightly coloured tune-pumpers
Pure has decided to mosey on into Sonos’ relatively unchallenged multi-room audio act by announcing what it claims to be the most affordable multi-room audio system around – the Pure Jongo S340B.
Packing in enough rechargeable juice to last for up to ten hours of music playback, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-toting Jongo S340B wireless speaker contains four tweeters for rich 360 degree sound and an upward-firing sub for punchy bass. It can also be paired with its other Jongo counterparts to provide cable-free playback of your music library across multiple rooms, hassle-free.
Each speaker will have four sound profiles – mono, stereo, standard stereo or an outdoors mode (which cranks up the volume to overcome the echoey natter of outdoor garden parties) and existing Pure products like the Sensia 200D Connect and Countour 200i Air can be seamlessly integrated into the Jongo system for even more ways to control multi-room audio.
Controls can also be taken care of by an accompanying iOS or Android Pure Connect app which will be dropping by the end of the year.
A single Pure Jongo S340B will set you back £150 and can be had in a variety of colours ranging from the traditional black and white to brighter yellow, red and green alternatives. It’ll be available to pre-order in the next two weeks and will be hitting shelves in November.
